There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Gara: Page 5, lines 9 - 10: Delete "The tax credit in this section is in addition to any other credit under this chapter for which the person is eligible." Insert "A person taking a credit under this section may not take another credit under this chapter for the same expenditure." Representative Gara moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Thompson objected. Representative Gara moved and asked unanimous consent to withdraw Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Austerman moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 289(FIN) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading, and placed on final passage. There being no objection, it was so ordered. **Representative Costello, who was excused (page 2149), left the Chamber. CSHB 289(FIN) was read the third time.
